Hi all! My name is Hein Verberne, born December 13, 1996, living in Veldhoven. I owe my first experiences with padel to my family and friends who took me out on the court. “Really a game for you”, they said at the time. Now, many years later, I have to agree with them. So the moment I heard that padel courts were being built at my old tennis club Metzpoint, I immediately joined, where I have been playing since 2018. As mentioned, I played tennis in my youth, but I was also a fanatic soccer player for the UNA and RKVVO selection teams. From the moment I started studying in Nijmegen, I dropped these sports and started working out. I am still combining this with padel. Besides playing a lot of sports, I am still finishing my master degree in Finance at Tilburg University and I have been teaching padel for a long time. I started doing this in 2020 and the enthusiasm is still as high – if not higher – than when I started. As a player and henceforth also as a trainer, I have always had the conviction that the pleasure of playing often goes hand in hand with development. My pleasure as a trainer comes mainly from the fact that I look together with the student how best to achieve progression for that individual. This means that I like to help you, but that I also ask something of the student himself. This way we can learn from each other and get interesting padel discussions and questions, which I can only enjoy more! I look forward to being on the court with you and learning from each other!
